ABOUT US

A Supreme Birthday

Nancy Harris and Catherine Rinaldo met over 30 years ago while studying for the Florida Bar Exam.  They became close friends as they went about the business of growing their respective law firms. Today, Nancy’s firm is recognized as a leading provider of family law and collaborative divorce legal services.  Simultaneously, Catherine has created a nationally recognized personal injury firm. Together, they created Sisters in Law Forum to bring together a group of leading women lawyers.  Through Sisters in Law, Catherine and Nancy hope to grow, engage, and support fellow women leaders in the field of law being forever mindful of  how far we have come and how much further we need to go.

Founded in 2019, Sisters in Law is an annual event that brings together leading women from around the Tampa Bay area that impact the field of law on a day-to-day basis.  Sisters in Law is an invitiation-only event that allows women leaders and their mentees to grow and engage in a supportive environment. These women leaders experience an inspiring panel discussion that celebrates the advancement of women in the field of law. Iconic women leaders such as former Florida Bar President, Gwynne Young; Hillsborough County Bar President, Grace Yang; The Honorable Federal Judge Mary Scriven and State-Wide Adoption Attorney Jeanne Tate, have enlightened us on the realities of being a woman in the competitive male-dominated field of law.
